How to make a purple protein shake (vegan)


Start by covering the blade of your blender with about a half cup of almond milk.

Then add one or two scoops of your favorite protein powder. The vegan protein I use is shown in the photo.

Use a full, ripe banana stored at room temperature.

Break it into four pieces and put it in the blender.

Add approximately half a cup of frozen berries. I like this mix of organic berries from Costco.

Optionally, add a tablespoon of raw sunflower seeds for a nice, nutty flavor.
